Shah Rukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965, in New Delhi, India, to parents of Muslim descent. His father, Taj Mohammad Khan, was a businessman, while his mother, Lateef Fatima, was a magistrate. He has an elder sister name Shehnaz Lalarukh. Khan attended St. Columba’s School in central Delhi, where he was an exceptional student and excelled in both academics and sports. He was particularly good at hockey and went on to represent his school at the state-level championships. Khan was interested in acting from a young age and was particularly inspired by the performances of the legendary Indian actors Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. He performed in several school plays and was actively involved in the drama club.
